Go Nuts for Doughnuts

Words cannot describe the degree of satisfaction one feels when downing a fresh-from-the-fryer doughnut from the Doughnut Vault. For six months now, the tiny establishment tucked next to Gilt Bar has been hawking delicacies to the hungry masses. Lines are long and they always sell out, leaving a trail of weepy sugar fiends in their midst.

Ordinarily, the Vault closes on Sundays and Mondays to reboot for the busy week ahead. But on Sunday, November 6, the Doughnut Vault is coming to Dose¬† — and launching eight new old-fashioned flavors to celebrate.

Fruit lovers can sink their teeth into lemon poppy seed or pineapple (the bakers mix the fruit into the batter as well as the icing for maximum depth of flavor); classic enthusiasts may indulge in chocolate-chocolate and buttermilk. If you’re feeling frisky, try chestnut, coconut, or dreamsicle.
